If he doesn't want her - or anyone else for that matter - she's not going to be on the ticket.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply peddling the last vestiges of silly, grasping, loser horseshit.

3. Exactly right. His pick not only WILL be his, it must APPEAR to be his
and his alone.

Any scent of an idea that he may have been bullied into picking her would destroy his candidacy.

4. She should not be on the ticket

because if anything ever happened to him (God forbid) she would be blamed forever. This country has enough conspiracy theories to go around -- we don't need more. If I were her, I wouldn't even think about accepting the vice presidential position should it be offered.

5. If Obama picks Clinton...
The Republicans will attack him for doing the politically expedient thing, just like they attacked Kerry for choosing Edwards. Unfortunately, this time they will be right.

Then of course you have the problem of Hillary AND Bill standing behind you holding butcher knives.

Plus, you have Hillary saying that, although she said she and McCain were both qualified to be Commander In Chief (tm) and Obama has a speech in 2002, now she thinks he'll make a good president. The scorched earth policy she adopted early on would destroy Obama if she was the VP.

Allowing Hillary to stick more knives into him isn't the answer.
