Stop gloating... Stop whining stop demanding stop with the insults.
It was a hard fought campaign and the nastiness has been vociferous in many quarters. And I suspect those feelings will run deep for a while. We need to allow Clinton supporters to rant and mourn and emote as people tend to do. and we need respect their right to do so.
An sn Obama supporter I can imagine how they feel having lived through the last two general elections. Anyone who does not recognize the let down and sense of loss has no soul. We should all applaud her tenacity and her fight. We should all recognize that she ran an effective campaign and that she cam awfully close.
THere are a lot of people who are not at all convinced she is the Right candidate for the second slot. just as other feel that the VP is a consolation prize.Due respect to the may opinions she is not owed anything nor does she deserve veep slot because quite honest it would be viewed as crass tokenism by some and capitulation by other... Obama understands that very well.. and we need to allow him to make the choice that is right for the race to come and the downticket.
Folks. this is a huge election. It is potentially an election with a huge mandate for the Democratic party at all levels. The country is desperate for new direction, ne unity ne purpose. That will not happen is we keep rehashing the primary. It is time time to begin a process of closing ranks and perhaps apologizing for our occasional tone and tact. We need to put aside bitterness whether in victory or defeat and unite to kick McCain's butt. It is too important an election to continue to squabble about how things went for the next five long months.
We should also all thanks the mods and the admins for their management of the excesses and for creating this site in the first place.

3. Bullshit. She ran a nasty race-baiting and kitchen sink throwing campaign and lost |
|
And still didn't have the integrity to realize when it was over and act appropriately.

have to feel sorry for anyone who does not understand that in order for Obama to win the nomination, the Clintons HAD to become racists. I did say almost. Although the odds of casing my vote for the presidential winner has dropped from 99% to about 50%, I'll vote for Obama, despite his supporters trying their best to dissuade me. If O fans really don't want Clinton supporter's votes, they have five months to turn us. Better get busy. Thanks. quickesst
