Everyone posting negative threads about Obama, he's OUR nominee. Why are you doing this? |
|
You DO realize that Obama is the Dem. nominee, don't you? And as this IS the DEMOCRATIC Underground, you WILL be supporting him, won't you? So what's the point of starting negative threads about OUR nominee?

5. You could be right. Even some of her biggest supporters are on tv saying Hillary needs to concede |
|
so we can start concentrating on McCain.

2. They are the real HATERS |

They can't accept reality and they can't lose with grace. Soon their kind won't be accepted here. They have a week to get their act together.

7. I see that. I wish Hillary would "give them permission" to let go and support our nominee... |
|
but she has no grace, either.

3. Because they are bitter. Or maybe they are elitist. Naderites? Freepers? Deluded? |
|
:sarcasm:
I would say that we need to give supporters of Senator Clinton a few weeks to get past their perfectly understandable disappointment

8. Yeah, but their "leader" needs to concede first, I think... |
|
Otherwise, they'll cling to this false hope.

4. No, I won't be supporting him. |
|
I'll vote for him, of course, but there's nothing there to support. And yes, I'd say exactly the same thing if Clinton were the nominee (well, I'd change the pronouns).

11. keep givin them hell bruddah |

there needs to be a way during the election cycle to continue to lobby for progressive issues without it being considered an "attack" on our nominee
I think you'll figure it out

10. what negative threads? seriously, what are you talking about? |
|
or is it that some of his supporters cannot handle any questions, any concerns, any worries about him? yes, this IS DU, but that doesn't mean we are all mindless little followers, even supporters can question the presumptive nominee, or even the actual nominee, candidate, or even president.

I've been reading awhile and I don't see the negative threads. Almost every negative thread is a hillary-bashing thread.

14. Don't want no NEGATIVES... |
|
"And as this IS the DEMOCRATIC Underground...", yadda, yadda. What happened to the Democratic UNDERGROUND part? Maybe it's the Democratic-Anybody CHEERING SECTION? Perhaps it is the Democratic MOTIVATIONAL SALES TRAINING?
I knew we were headed under Clinton's bus when flag-burning, Iraq authorization and Iran came up. Now, I'm wondering when we end up under Obama's bus. At least there will be some interesting and funny clergymen down there.
