"Be one of 18 million, STAND WITH HILLARY"
Stand for what? What is going on with this campaign? They are acting like members of a cult.

Frankly I think that Hillary is still trying to secure the nomination for herself. Failing that, she's going to try and bully her way onto the ticket in the Veep slot.
Thus she's keeping her sychophants, er, supporters, whipped up into a frothing frenzy. The implicit threat is that if she doesn't get her way, she can take her supporters and go home. Blackmail, plain pure and simple. And frankly it is disgusting as hell.

18. She's fighting for the DLC's future, and a McCain win in November keeps them alive |
|
... even if she has to run third-party to make it happen. I expect she'll stop short of a third-party run, but will continue to exact as much damage on Obama as possible.

28. This could mean that the cost of Bill Clinton winning in a year any Democrat |
|
would have won - with GHWB at 33% by election day might be 12 of the worse years in American history. There is no way that Bush could have run on bringing honor and decency back to the White House without Clinton's actions. It's impossible to guess the path taken, but it would be hard to get to Bush - especially if the Democratic President continued the investigations of BCCI and other issues.

30. True. Bush's Presidency was made possibly by Bill Clinton's behavior. |
|
(And not just the infidelity, but his coverup of it and dragging everyone around him down with him.)

But I'm going to vote for Obama in the GE, and there's not a Goddamn thing she can do about it. I'm sure I'm not one-in-18-million.

I had no occasion to visit it prior to the speech. :7
Someone had posted the We Did It message from Obama's site, so I wondered what Hillary had on hers since she hadn't conceded.

11. She wants (another?) co-presidency ... |
|
She wants to use those "18 million" (oh, BITE ME, that's a lie!) supporters as a club to beat Obama until he agrees to make her a "co-president" not just a Veep.
The way she behaved last night with her speech, I think Obama ought to pick ANOTHER woman just to spite her -- show her she's not the ONLY qualified woman in this country to serve as his deputy.

20. But you gotta admit that 17 million is an impressive size for a cult. |

So 16 million do have to be respective for all of their 15 million perspectives.
Oh, sorry about the numbers -- I'm still stuck on HRC math.

18,000,000i ? Cool
It is strange to claim when there are people who would have changed had their primary been later. Yesterday would have included NJ - in fact, we had the non-presidential part yesterday. According to polls, instead of being 10% up as she was on SuperTuesday, she was polled as 10% down.
Even earlier there was that effect - supposely Obama did better on day of the vote votes than in the mailed in ones cast earlier.

Those 18 million people are almost all Democrats & will support the Dem nominee. She doesn't own you just because you voted for her in the primary. I have no clue what Clinton is thinking anymore.
