Bush KNOWS Obama Now
”Jan Schakowsky told me about a recent visit she had made to the White House with a congressional delegation. On her way out, she said, President Bush noticed her ‘Obama’ button. ‘He jumped back, almost literally,’ she said. ‘And I knew what he was thinking. So I reassured him it was Obama, with a ‘b.’ And I explained who he was. The President said, ‘Well, I don’t know him.’ So I just said, ‘You will.’ ” (New Yorker, 5/31/2004)

3. He's gonna hate that the GOP never went after Obama early on
because once Obama puts Edwards in charge of the Justice Department, ALL of the dirty little Bush secrets are going to see the light of day.

People will go to prison.

And hopefully, there will be a case made for war crimes against Bush.

11. We can't know this yet but in my heart.....
I think that you may be right. Senator Obama stated earlier that he would put his AG onto investigating potential crimes committed by the bush administration and furthermore he would follow the Constitution regarding how to proceed if such crimes were committed. That sounds like a pretty good way to go imo. I too would like to see Edwards as AG. He would make a good one indeed.

17. Edwards has too much sympathy for other people. I want Obama to appoint a tough SOB as AG.
Someone tough as nails, honest as the morning sun, and persistent as a hound on a squirrel.

19. Edwards had no sympathy for the people in charge of the corporations
who killed little kids in wading pools etc. Why would he have sympathy for the Bush Administration, knowing the horrors that have occurred in Iraq and elsewhere as a result of their lies?

13. Then I hope he goes after the money they stoled. All the things *ss
& co. have paid out money to their friends for projects that have never been completed. That money should be recovered to pay down the debt. There is a lot of work to be done in the Justice Department. I think John Edwards would make a great AG but I also think that he would love to work on his campaign for the poor as head of Human Services Department.

6. Too bad Bush didn't react when he read about Osama Bin Laden on 8/6/01.
The stupid fuck might have actually been doing his job: protecting US citizens.

14. Thank You for that. What a reaction
to that speech. I wish I'd seen it at the time. My son did and told me then he'd be president someday. I thought a good speech doesn't really tell you anything about the man.
I researched Obama along with others when I gave up on Gore entering race last year, but really was just looking at Obama to be polite to my son. All I really knew about him was he asked great questions at Senate hearings. I researched him last and he was the only one that the more I found the more I really liked him so I kept looking and I was so impressed by his 20+ years before the US Senate but I still hadn't heard him speak and wondered if he was really that good. Earlier reports on his campaigning was that he was too much of a wonk, not inspirational.

I guess he took that to heart! Iowa was the first time I heard him speak

10. that's my congresswoman. rumor has it she is on the short list to replace
obama in the senate. she richly deserves it. she is great.
sadly, our slightly brain damaged governor is now reportedly considering tammy duckworth, who lost to an absolute loser in a congressional race (her first try at public office.) well, we will see.

I can imagine the stupid look on his face. To be honest, I'm surprised that he hasn't accidentally called Obama, "Osama".
