MoveOn PAC's big pre-RNC concert in NYC
To get tickets, go to:

http://moveon.tix.com/

Join us for the world premiere of ads by ten directors created specifically for MoveOn PAC and the last ten weeks of the campaign. The evening will be hosted by the inimitable Janeane Garofalo and will feature performances and appearances by Al Franken, The Roots, Moby, Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction), and myself along with many more guests to be announced in coming days.

The ads that will be unveiled were created by some of the most notable directors working in American cinema today, including: Richard Linklater ("School of Rock, Before Sunset"), Allison Anders ("Mi Vida Loca", "Gas, Food, Lodging"), Rob Reiner ("Primary Colors, "When Harry Met Sally"), John Sayles ("Silver City", "Lone Star"), Doug Limon ("The Bourne Identity, "Swingers"), and hip-hop video director Benny Boom, among others in collaboration with writers, actors, and musicians like Kevin Bacon, Matt Damon, Rebecca Romijn, Scarlett Johanssen, Moby, Martin Sheen, Ed Asner, Illeana Douglas, Ione Skye, Al Franken, Donal Logue & many others.

Tickets start at just $25, so no one has to miss this event, but the Hammerstein Ballroom is a small venue, and tickets are expected to sell out very quickly. Tickets aren't yet on sale to the general public -- just MoveOn members -- so if you would like to attend, we suggest you get your tickets now at:

http://moveon.tix.com/

All proceeds from the event will go directly to MoveOn PAC's programs like our Leave No Voter Behind Neighbor-to Neighbor Victory Drive and will help us keep our ads exposing the Bush administration on the air.

1. I wish I was less than 2000 miles away from NYC
Oh well, any DUers that get to go, have a great time!

Isn't it great that all the talent is on our side!

2. Ed Asner? He was a Larouche donor in 2003.
