They have moved faster than any presumptive nominee and close runner-up ever had in history to unite the party that they love so much. Reagan took Ford all the way to the convention and then upstaged him and contested the convention in probably the closest nomination battle before this year. Kennedy wouldn't even let Carter grab him on the stage on President Carter's acceptance night so that they could have the ceremonial locking and raising of arms (which badly hurt the democrats and helped set the stage for Reagan) Jessie Jackson took Governor Dukaksis all the way to the convention to force through demands to the nominating system. Gary Hart heatedly contested the race among superdelegates after the final California primary, which he won, along with surprise wins in Ohio and Indiana. Hart didn't concede until very close to the convention. Johnson threatened to contest the nomination on the floor unless JFK picked him.

On the other hand, Senators Obama and Clinton from Clinton's AIPAC speech praising Obama to agreeing to concede so quickly once the primaries officially ended to Obama's effusive praise of Clinton in Minnesota on Tuesday night and reach out to her and her strongest supporters to meeting tonight in I guess an extended meeting before she even formally concedes. These two have moved faster than any competitors in a deadlocked nomination battle in history to bury the hatchet and to unite the party that they love so much.

And I love them! They are leading the way towards smashing Mccain in the fall. Good work guys. I am so PROUD of you!
