My husband's car repair guy is going to vote Democratic this year for the first time. |
|
He stopped by to deliver my husband's car after repairing and test driving it. We talked a bit while he waited for my husband to drive him back to his shop. He said he has always voted Republican, but this year he is going to vote for Obama. I was just astounded.

They add up. :)
Now we just need to figure out a way to make sure the votes are actually counted.

2. Tell Al, or Mike, or Steve congrats! |

(In my experience, car repair guys are almost always named Al, or Mike, or Steve.)

My husband had to keep going back for this repair. He would leave the car with a nearly full tank of gas, and each time, when he went back, there was very little gas left. We think he has been using my husband's car to run his errands. We don't mind. His rates are really low. He does a great job, and he is a nice guy (in spite of his Republican past). By the way, my husband has an Edwards sticker on his car, so the mechanic knows where we stand.

Perfect Storm and we're so fortunate to have Obama to personify what we need right now.
