Wesley Clark asks us to support Tony Knowles for US Senate from Alaska
General Wesley Clark endorses Tony Knowles, a former governor of Alaska, to be the state's next US Senator.

The race is close. Tony Knowles is leading by 3 points.

Clark notes that, "Tony's opponent, Senator Lisa Murkowski, was given the job by her father Frank to fulfill the remainder of his Senate term after he became Governor in 2002."

Some people don't think Lisa Murkowski was the best choice. We have a special opportunity to gain a seat from Alaska this year, and hopefully reach 51 Democratic seats.

3. Knowles stands a pretty good chance of taking this Senate seat
And Kerry can sure use every friend in the Senate he can get. To get his cabinet confirmed without a fight, and to turn around the mess that BushCo has made of our nation.

4. Knowles is slightly ahead. Let's keep it going.
If Lisa Murksowski wins, she'll be more entrenched in six years.

Now is the time to help a Democrat become the next US Sentor from Alaska.
