WOW! By far the best speech I have ever heard Hillary deliver |
|
She was just absolutely fantastic. Yes, I know there were some boos from the crowd for Obama at first but that is not her fault. But by the end of the speech I think she had won over almost everyone there.
Just WOW, and as an Obama supporter, we are SO lucky she didn't give other speaches that powerful during her campaign or Obama would have been the one delivering a concession.

1. This was a difficult speech to deliver both emotionally and technically... |
|
...(Olbermann said it contained at least four different speeches) She hit all the points perfectly. Her delivery was absolutely first rate, to match the phrasing. This is not a speech that will be easily forgotten.

3. I agree, caught some really interesting looks from Bill & Chelsea |
|
while she was speaking that said to me that they were being blown away by her and saying the same thing themselves - "Wow!"

2. Actually, she gave great speeches like this, many times. You and the media somehow missed them. |

4. So true. So very true. Her off the cuff flubs always overshadowed her speeches. |
|
And she was held in irrational contempt by many people on DU throughout her campaign over those flubs.

6. Well, I've heard her speak many times but never like today |
|
and I am not just talking about the content of the speech, but the way she punched the important lines, her pacing, and the organization of the speech itself. It was superb.

7. Not the best speech. Not even close. But it done the job. |
|
Now lets move on to the GE.

8. I disagree. It was very powerful |
|
I also think that Obama's speech writers may have had some input into the speech as well.

9. STOP IT! Hillary doesn't need Barack's writers - they suck. |

10. LOL, sure, "yes we can", "this is our time" |
|
I'm sure Hillary included those lines because they "sucked".
Why would it be so insulting to you if Obama's writers contributed to the speech?
