Question to those who supported Hillary: Honestly, what do you think about |
|
Mark Penn and her other staffers? How do you feel about they performance? Do you feel they should be blamed for the outcome of this primary?
This is not an attempt to open wounds or anything- just want to know how do you feel about her team's performance. Did they work as you wanted or expected them to work, or do you feel she was ill-served by them?

And let's not forget -- this one was very close.
That having been said, I do think they gaffed a few times too often to win. The combination of Obama's charisma/inspiration and Clinton gaffes (not so much her "old school tie") is what did it in for her.
For me, it was the gas tax holiday, which I classify as a gaffe. After that, I couldn't take her seriously anymore.

2. I'm not sure that it was just gaffes |

It was poor coordination, organizing and planning. That's why they kept losing caucus states and admittedly didn't have a plan after super Tuesday.

Why are you so hostile all the time? It's like you see bad intentions in everything.

I was watching Mcauliffe on some news show, can't remember which one, and the reporter asked him if he could do it over, what would he change. And he replied (paraphrasing), "well of course we would put some ground operations in the caucus states that occurred after Super Tuesday. We didn't have any, don't ask me why."
And I though, what do you mean, don't ask you why? You were the fucking chair of her campaign and you didn't have ANY ground operations in the caucus states in Feb?
Both McAuliffe and Penn failed her miserably. If she had had a good ground game in every state, which she deserved to have since she paid these idiots millions of dollars, the outcome might have been different.
But, in the end, the important thing is that we win in November. And I think Barack is on his game, as is Axelrod, and they will get us accross the finish line.
