Which poll shows the Swift Boat Liars are having an effect on Kerry? |
|
I have heard this several times but I've never heard which polls are showing this.

However, the latest Quinnipiac PA poll shows Kerry winning among veterans and military families: http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x12945.xml

effect is minimal except on the Bushistas, who mistakenly think they will counter F-9/11.
I believe there will be a significant backlash against Bush from vets and thier family and friends as a result of the smear.

4. The only person I heard say it was Bill Maher |

Surprised me. I haven't seen any evidence to support it and he didn't cite any polls. Doubt it's true.

5. Probably the CNN/Gallup poll--the only one "they" refer to.... |
|
but actually, while that poll shows Bush* ahead of Kerry, it also shows that Bush* slipped one point from the previous Gallup poll.

6. The poll of DU armchair strategists. |
|
100% of them agree the Swift Boat smears have destroyed Kerry, and revealed him to be a weak, Dukakis-like candidate. And if the employment figures coming out in a couple of weeks look good and Bush wins the election, the DU armchair strategists will be proven correct in their own minds.

9. I agree with the analysis in that link, except |
|
one thing it fails to mention is the fact that we don't know what criteria this 'Republican polling and strategic consulting firm' used to determine who is a 'likely voter'.
