I know I'm like a DU B- or C-lister, but can I create my own inner-DU kool kid thread feature?

From time to time we can get a little heated. A little hot under the collar. We might even be a little mean to each other. (Oh, the humanity!)

In response to these unfortunate yet inevitable occurrences, I propose that we use the rallying cry "Meanness be gone!" If enough of us rally together in unity underneath this most powerful phrase, any hint of malice in the "new" GD: P will assuredly vanish.

Snarky response? "Meanness be gone!"

Virtual tongue-lashing? "Meanness be gone!"

Petulant personal attack? "Meanness be gone!"

And of course, like all movements, we should have a mascot. I anoint Father Dogbert as our mascot:



He is a one-dog anti-meanness machine.


So does this DU C-lister get any props for her "brilliance?" Or should I skulk away to the D-list?

The only thing I see as causing a problem with this idea is that it would still inflame a poster... Perhaps they don't (or refuse to) think that they are being mean? Just a thought.

10. You know, of all the people who have ever pissed me off...

(and I will be honest, there have been many) I have yet to place any more than one or two on full mega-talk-to-the-hand ignore.

The reason is, if someone is being a jerk, I think it means more to see their jerkness and simply ignore them, than it does to not look at them at all.
