McCain to discuss free trade during Canada speech

OTTAWA (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate John McCain will give a speech next week in Canada about free trade, an issue he has emphasized on the campaign trail.

McCain, an avowed free-trader, is to speak to the Economic Club of Canada in Ottawa on June 20, the club announced Wednesday. McCain has criticized his Democratic rival, Barack Obama, for saying he would renegotiate the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement, which is credited for record exports by Republicans but blamed for job losses by many Democrats.

How the hell is a speech about free trade in Ottowa going to play in MI, PA and Ohio? He is emphasizing the one thing that is going to infurioate voters he needs the most in a regios where he must win at least once on election day.

What next a speech in Cuidad Juarez on multiculturalism?

Knock yourself out John?

1. You're assuming he has a coherent plan.
I'm not sure he does.
