Fuck these polls. They are stupid. The media keeps focusing on these demographic breakdowns, making them appear to be more important than others, when in reality, a vote is a vote. Obama LEADS McCain OVERALL in women, so what the hell is the problem?

It's like they will CREATE a situation to support their bias reporting. They create these scenarios. What difference does it make regarding white "suburban" women? He's winning white women! He's winning women PERIOD! Why make it seem like he has a problem when he really doesn't!?

10. Yesterday on David Gregory's show (I think)

They showed the poll where Obama lead McCain by miles in most catagories.

Then Gregory teased a coming segment several times by saying "Does Obama have a problem with women and white men?"

Seems to me the question should be, "Does McCain have a problem with everybody except white men and suburban women?"

He is CRUSHING McCain with Hispanic voters. They went on and on for MONTHS about how McCain is in so good with the Hispanic community because of his stance on Immigration and how Obama would have problems with them.

BUT OBAMA IS CRUSHING HIM. THAT is the news story, but instead they focus on these sub-sub categories like it's really big news.

Again, McCain seems to have a problem with VOTERS period. For McCain to be such a well-known brand name and a POW, he is getting CRUSHED despite the fact OBama just got out of a harsh primary race and some of Hillary's supporters are still talking smack about not voting for him. Obama STILL crushes McCain right now with all of that. They need to be asking what is wrong with MCCAIN not Obama.

But they are SPINNING hard.

A reminder: The people who run the companies who own the television networks which air the news are part of the %1 of the American population that thrives on Republican economic "policy" and who, when Democrats are in power, are forced to pay their fair share of taxes. They will never, ever, ever say anything positive about a Democrat. Plus, since the news has become a cross between editorial comment and entertainment rather than news, the very people *presenting* the news are among those who earn "2.9MM per year or more will pay more in taxes under Obama's tax plan."

This WILL NOT CHANGE until:

1. The Fairness Doctrine is reinstated and
2. Corporate ownership of media outlets is regulated to prevent megalopolies, as it was until Reagan's second term and then even more so during the last year of Clinton's first term. (A Republican congress, but Clinton signed it.)

It is past time for every American with any sentience to point out to everyone that they know that the only place to get real information is on the 'net, even though that means separating the chaff from the wheat.

On television, the only "news" there is is chaff.
