The Obama Wavelength
We know the way republicans dominate is to frame the debate then sit back and laugh as democrats shit themselves trying to play it by repuke rules. They've enjoyed the fruits of this predictable dynamic for a very long time. Obama is a paradigm shift that has them baffled and petrified. He is literally changing politics before our eyes. Unlike so many democrats before him who reflexively snap at the bait, he simply turns it around and takes it to them from HIS perspective. A perspective usually rooted in thoughtful, realistic, analysis of the issues. We saw some of this during the primaries when, try as she did, Hillary was unable to suck him in. He stayed cool, focused, and on message. Right now the inner-republican must be howling "Hey, that's not how it's supposed to work, he's not doing this right!".

While some of "Barack's Way" may be strategic, I think there is something more fundamental at work: Obama simply doesn't think like they do. He is on a higher wavelength. One that is mostly free of the standard republican patterns of noise and static. This is why he is going to clobber them. They will try to broadcast bullshit on all frequencies, but as long as he plays it his way, they are over.

3. Yes, very much like that
Didn't Jaco Pastorius claim he played a brown note during a Weather Report show, but finished the concert pantload and all?

4. He is for real
He looks at the world through a different lens.

He has a unique self awareness and consciousness that allow him to think on his feet faster than most. He is in the moment and he knows what he believes and uses his own thoughts for each premise.
He has studied history and our constitution thoroughly and developed his own framework for reform to accompany the usual talking points and platform.
Read "The Audacity of Hope" and you will really see where he is coming from.

I am just starting "Dreams From My Father" and it is starting out almost better.
I love the way he thinks.

This is a man who may be president of the U.S. and is consciously, currently, genetically invested in the well being of people in Asia and in Africa.
I think it is why he has such deep empathy.
To my knowledge, this has never happened in modern American history.

6. Yes, he is and we definetly
have that going for us. That's what's needed since we have to go straight through the mainstream mediawhores.

7. I think he's basically an intuitively good politician.
He's got a good, immediate sense of what works and what doesn't, and he's too smart to fall into their traps. Let's hope he continues to be so.
