McCain, Obama essentially tied in Georgia, poll says
As Barack Obama's campaign announced Thursday that it will launch television advertisements in Georgia and 17 other states Friday, a new poll shows the Democratic hopeful essentially tied with Republican John McCain in Georgia.

5. One white candidate, two ethnically diverse ones.
One of whom is proud of it, the other ashamed.

4. Whoah. No wonder Obama's campaign has been talking about Georgia.
If this poll is any good, McCain is in deep shit, because the deep south is in play. McCain can't defend in the south and still try to compete in the midwest.

6. Why wouldn't women support an pasty, old, adulterous, lying, war-mongering
misogynist over a handsome, dignified, charismatic, devoted young father?

Ask Senator Max Cleland or Governor Roy Barnes how that works.
Sorry, that's former Senator Cleland and former Governor Barnes,
even though both were leading by double-digits just before the election.

11. Voter registration baby.
Get that AA population signed up and Georgia can be flipped. And even making it close will further gut McCain's finances forcing him to spend money to defend it... which weakens him across the board.
