I think it would increase their role and I don't think that would be a good thing. REAL journalists with journalistic INTEGRITY should be on the endangered species list.
I can only take so much of 24/7 Rev Wright coverage.
On edit: Another thing that really bothers me about the media is their lack of critical analysis. So many of them seem to be nothing more than mimicking parrots.
