McCain breaks the law four years in a row and the news is about a war record observation?... |
|
On a day when McCain has been identified as a scofflaw, not paying his taxes 4-5 years in a row, Obama is being pressured into distancing himself from a general's comment about the obvious fact that McCain's war record is not a big qualifier for the job of President.
When Al Franken simply paid his taxes to the wrong people (during just one tax year), it was big news. Some commentators almost had an O'Reillygasm over it.
I don't know how, but Obama really has to work on the media situation. He can't be playing defense on a day he's handed the ball.

3. I don't have a link, but I heard this on KPOJ this AM. It was the RE taxes |
|
on their California beach house, and the news was broken by Newsweek. The statement made on the radio was that the RE taxes weren't paid for 4 years, and the McNuts didn't pay any attention UNTIL Newsweek started digging into the issue. They paid the past due amount but still owe about $1,700 for 2008.
