1. We volunteered in June, and have really had a great time. |
|
Going canvassing tomorrow and I can't wait. We have met some really great folks, which is nice cuz we've only lived here a year and don't know anyone.

3. Yup. And we're in NH, shall we say mildly conservative. |
|
We also have gotten a number of folks to volunteer and help while going door to door. Even the Bushies have been surprisingly polite. Also helped staff events, planning a house meeting to recruit, pretty much anything they need us to do. Found the best place to recruit, is after a 911 showing lets out. As far as the Kerry Literature, I do as Carl Malden said, Don't leave home without it. As you can tell, I have become obsessed.

4. There should be a local Kerry campaign coordinator |
|
assigned to your county and state. There is supposed to be one for every county in the country. Our coordinator has 5 counties. Try to hook up with that person.
We are doing phone banking now, which means making a lot of calls, asking people who are for Kerry if they would like to volunteer, and then dropping off campaign literature to people that are leaning towards Kerry or not sure.
Get in touch with you local Dems, or try meetup.com
