Comcast trying to silence liberal voices.... moves MSNBC from channel 31 to 183 in Pittsburgh area..

Moving a channel to the digital range, forcing customers to only be able to watch it via a digital box, is a sure way to cut ratings by more than half.

Comcast is trying to kill MSNBC..... one market at a time.

1. This is no surprise, all one has to do is read about Comcast over a period of time
to see what is going on. However, they are not the only media conglomerate that is doing this kind of stuff and it simply is up to a democratic increased majority to do something about it after the elections. (if they will) We have seen their actions so far but we can hope. This kind of stuff has to be stopped if we the people are going to be able to get the news we need to be able to know the facts. Hopefully, a free press will remain, don't see that we have one right now.

2. they're doing the same thing in Denver
It's now on 2 channels, and soon they will eliminate the lower, more accessible channelleaving only the high end digital channel for MSNBC. Also, and even more stupefying, they moved C-Span 2 and 3 way up there in the digital lineup--C-span one is still in the lower range for now, but I'm not sure if it's in the Basic Cable package; it might be in the next one up.

Shameless!

3. 183?
It's not just the digital thing, but who goes that high accidentally. I have to be pretty bored or on a mission to hit that high a number.

4. They're doing it here too (in NH)
I have a digital box in the living room, but I run right from the wall in my office and the last two days theres been a scroller across the top of the screen. So NOW I wont get MSNBC in my office. WTF. I already pay them $150 a month for cable & net. This REALLY pisses me off. :nuke:
