2. Could this election be any more polarized?? |
|
The choice seems to be: life or death, sanity or more batsh*tcrazy than it already is....Hope or Doom!!!
I don't know bout you but I'm still on the fence :silly:

6. That's exactly what I thought when I saw this, my friend! |
|
Good God, the choices are so different! How can anybody possibly be "undecided" now, but we know that most people just aren't paying attention. *sigh* There's my mother, for example, who told me, ages ago, that she really liked Barak Obama. But then, she's always hated the Clintons. And she voted for John McCain in the NY primary, since she's a registered Republican. I'm going to try to push her off the fence, which will be cruel, since she recently had hip replacement, LOL, just kidding. We need to wake up in this country, and the MSM isn't helping, but FarLeftRage's thread points out exactly what people need to know. As I said to him, they need to show this kind of thing on the national news...:-(

12. Is the repeated "my friend" reference intended as sarcasm towards McBomb's use of that term? |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-20-08 06:27 AM by 1Hippiechick
Or is the OP really a friend. Just curious...if it's sarcasm of McBomb's use of the term, I wanted to savor it! LOL

This is one of the threads I have bookmarked, it's that stunning, and worth keeping. Thank you for posting one of the best of the week, my friend. You made a powerful statement. :-)

That's for damn sure. All those people who wanted an election that wasn't just about partisan politics are getting one now. This one's about survival. :hi:

I was just about to reply to the earlier post, since she said much the same thing, but just read your reply. I am totally baffled by the "undecided" voters. Either we want to remain a powerful country and a force for good in the world, or we want to continue to dig ourselves deeper into oblivion and continue to alienate our previous allies. Those are the choices.:-(
BTW, Barak Obama is now in Afghanistan. I really hate that he's doing this now, since I'm worried for his safety. It's just too damn dangerous for anybody, especially in Iraq. He really didn't need to do this, but was goaded into it by the McCain campaign...:scared:

8. The idea of this short tempered not very birght abrassive jerk getting elected |
|
and having to face all of the complex conflicts is mind numbing. In the midst of a crises does any one doubt that he would listen to the hotest head in the room?

11. He would be "the hottest head in the room..." |

And sure has changed from 2000, when even other Democrats I know would have supported him, since he went after this administration more than the Democrats in Congress did. And he would cause the crisis. *sigh* :-(
