I was in my favorite cafeteria style restaurant |
|
this afternoon (Greek cuisine...best Spanikopita on the PLANET)and one of the Sunday Specials listed was:
"Meatloaf...served with HEINZ ketchup...Senator Kerry's favorite"
Too bad I had my mouth all set for the Spinach Pie...(ketchup isn't exactly the condiment of choice there. Next time I'll work myself up for the meatloaf.

3. It's in beautiful, downtown Danvers |
|
It's called simply "Brother's Restaurant". They are the nicest folks. They used to be in Peabody Square, until a dispute with the building's landlord drove them away.
I hadn't been there for a while, and when I came in, the owner remembered me from when I ran for office in Peabody, and spoke. Even asked how my Mom was.
There are photos filling one wall of the brothers with any and all of the politicians that came through Peabody, 'cause, of course, it was a required stop!
