McCain's offer of Town Hall Debates, Is it time to accept? (Force the MSM to cover his gaffes)

Honestly, the debates just can't come soon enough for me. McCain screws up seriously so often, and gets away with it, I would love for it to happen in front of 80 million voters.


I understand why the offer was not accepted a month ago, the primaries had just ended and there were other concerns. Now the GE campaign is ramping up quickly. IMO it is time to be more aggressive and try to pressure the repug campaign while it is struggling.

1. they'll cover the gaffes the same way they did dumbo's during the

2000-04 debates, by telling everyone not to believe their lying eyes, by ignoring all the gaffes, while concentrating in microscopic detail on EVERY misstep, perceived or nonexistent, by Obama

when necessary, they'll LIE about what he said, to the extent CBS did, when they edited that response from one Katy Couric question onto his lying answer to the relevant one

and the smaller the layer of pundits and "journalists" involved, the better.
