MCCAIN: DOLE MOMENT
CNN just did a piece showing about Obama in Germany, and made him look very presidential. It was followed by McCain talking in a grocery store with bad audio and half gallons of pineapple juice with the word "DOLE" in large red letters in the background. Whoever let him stand in front of that should be fired.

For Reference: Clinton/Gore 379 Dole/Kemp 159

1. He also had a Dole moment in saying Obama would rather lose a war...
...than lose the election ~ sounding as pathetic and bitter as Dole did back then.

There was something Dole said like it, but can't recall the line. Somebody else might remember.

3. that's amazing. I want a picture of it!
I only saw him answering questions in front of the cheese section. How dignified, haha.

6. Great Stuff

Good comments here by all.

This also reminded me of the ridiculous tour of the supermarket by the Real George Bush - - the one where he demonstrated that he had never seen a checkout scanner before. Add that to the cheese section, McSame just generally looking totally lost as he ambled around the aisles, and this hilarious Dole thing (nice catch), and it was a PR disaster. Again. This guy is a blessing to us all.

7. McCain should sue his campaign manager for malpractice!
I wouldn't count him out though. He may get his shit together as he did in the GOP primaries.

8. it's not so much that he got is shit together
as much as everyone else's shit completely fell apart after having gone for the same voters. so really he was just the last guy left standing.

so yeah, i wouldn't count him out just because in politics one never should, because he certainly doesn't have the money, organization, charisma, registered voters, and history on his side. the only thing he's got going for him is the possibility of good luck, which is as fickle as the wind.
