WTF? McCain To Meet With The Dalai Lama On Friday?
Mark Halperin at The Page is reporting that McCain is to meet with the Dalai Lama on Friday. WTF? Is this his attempt to counter the Obama speech today? Today, it's Lance Armstrong, and tomorrow the Dalai Lama. What's next, meeting with Chuck Norris on Saturday?

3. This might be in response to Obama's $5 million Ad buy during the Olympics

Obama criticised Bush for attending the Olympics after China's cracked down in Tibet.

So while McCain can't compete with Obama's Ad buys, this might be an attempt to negate Obama's ad buys by saying (supposedly) they are an endorsement of the Olympics after Obama said the POTUS shouldn't attend.
