She sounded like her best friend just got run over.
But I guess in a way, her best friend did just get run over.

3. Halperin: "The strongest thing he is doing is blurring foreign policy differences w/ McGolfCart." |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-24-08 12:54 PM by jefferson_dem
Halperin: This speech was a good one to bridge the divide between him and McCain. It worked.
Kristin Powers: He looked presidential and it was a very well-received speech. Great optics. A good overall presentation that he will benefit from.
I just flicked over to FauxNews so you don't have to. And the response from Halperin was surprisingly sane.

It would be interesting hearing McCain talking about dad herding goats in Kenya, though I would not put it past McCain to say it, then claim he had a senior moment.

30. talking heads didn't trash us, did us a favor by saying McCain could have said these things |
|
it puts Obama in the hunt and prevents McCain from trashing him over what he said.
They didn't say McCain could have given the speech as well, they said there was nothing controversial in it.
They said he looked good, that it was his campaign speech (which is better than them saying he was cocky and acting like he was already the prez).
They didn't piss me off...but they moved too quickly to the lost white girl...IMHO.
