But what I was getting at is that the AP writes highlighted Obama's call to end terror and splashed it across the front-page for Americans to see.

That is very helpful.

3. When Obama said that he seeked an end to war in Iraq..
That line got the biggest reaction from the crowd, even more than global warming.
