I couldn't agree more. The General is starting to get some traction methinks...

2. Positive Article
I think it's becoming more and more clear that it will come down to Clark and Dean after Feb. 3rd. That is if we keep at it though and keep picking up steam. The money's there, but all of the races are still tight. Clark is an appealing candidate for many of those Feb. 3 states.

3. He'd be getting even more traction
if the bias media would give him as fair fair of attention.
Wolf just asked a reporter (?) what she thought of Clark's new tax plan and she ignored the question and went off on a tangent and discussed Dean. No mention of Clark's MTP interview. Ain't fair!

4. True
but at least they showed part of his speech, the part where he throws the gauntlet down to Rove.

I am optimistic that the media will come around. Right now the big story is Dean and Questions. That will get tired soon, and they'll have to talk about the other candidates. Clark is already being acknowledged as the number one opponent, imagine when he takes over second place in NH!

5. GENERAL SMACKDOWN is in da house
Jan. 12 issue - Gen. Wesley Clark has never quite learned how to behave like a politician. Before Christmas, he was asked at a town meeting in Derry, N.H., how he would respond if President Bush or Clark's own Democratic rivals questioned his patriotism or military record. Failing to see that he was being followed by a television camera, he answered, "I'll beat the s—t out of them." Clark's aides later joked that the candidate should have put out an apology, acknowledging that he had misspoken—that what he really meant to say was, "I'll beat the living s—t out of them."

8. I'm going to camp out on the front porch!
Ours usually comes on Tuesday, but I suspect the carrier sometimes reads it, because every once in a while, it doesn't come till Wed. Same with The Nation - usually on Saturday, but sometimes not until Monday or Tuesday. Of course, my Progressive always arrives all torn up too...
