I apologize for not catching names..... But the Bushistas were indignant about Kerry's "lies" about the Christmas eve patrol in Cambodia. "It shows a pattern of deception" and that Kerry is calculating, etc.
Yeah, I know, bull.
But... why didn't the McMahon counter with Jr's statement in his autobiography that "he continued flying for several years." Among other lies.
One misspoke due to the fog of war, the other to a fog of coke and weed.
Why aren't the dems swinging on this? Oh, and what does it say about Cheney's heroism that "he had other priorities at the time."

defending Kerry's war record and explaining away irrelevant discrepencies is another minute Bush gets away with AWOL, WMD lies, economic failure, Chalabi connections, Cheney's task force, environmental destruction, etc.
We need to get our train back on track. Bush's record needs to be the focus, not Kerry's. They'd love for us to keep talking about Christmas in Cambodia.

The Dems need to get off the defensive and on the offensive. Kerry has done great in saying if Bush wants to discuss Nam, bring it on.
Now the word needs to be put out about what Bush did during Nam. Drinking beer and eating tacos in the USA does not make a hero.
Bush doesn't want to discuss his Nam history or anything before he self admittedly first gained sobriety on his 40th birthday but the Bushco is demanding Kerry to explain his every action during the same time period. Interesting.
