Are we going to win?
Or is it time to pack it in? I am so sick of all this shit. Especially from a president who won't deal with the real issues while he makes up fake ones. It frustrates the hell out of me. This has to end.

1. I hope we win!
And at the moment, we are, if polls are any indication. :)

2. They WANT us to pack it in!
No way are we going to do that.

And if they steal it, we don't give up. Not this time.

Of course we are going to win.

8. I posted this in another thread, but it's good for this one, as well.
Last month I was laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, when the thought came to me, "You know, I haven't had jury duty in a long time." My next thought was, "Why did I think of that?" Shit! I'm going to get a summons!" The next day, I went to the mailbox and there it was - a jury summons.

So. I'm psychic. Kerry's going to win - big.

10. i doubt it
if the US was rescuable, Gore would've won in a landslide in 2000. the fact that ANYONE would vote for * instead of Gore or Kerry is a sign of incurable cancer in the country. The media, the swift boat liars, Karl Rove, pnac, and Limpballs and all his clones are tumors that are within a few years from bringing down the greatest nation in history.

if the sleaze campaigning doesn't work, there is bbv, and if that fails, the election will be sent to clarence thomas. even if, by some chance, Kerry overcomes Big Media, Diebold, and the lie machine, the next four years will be the Big Dog Years X 10. There will be a new lie every week, and every success at home and abroad will be run off the front page by made-up scandals, rumours, and lies.

I heard today on the radio that the political climate and discourse in the country hasn't been this hostile since the Civil War. My prediction is that if Kerry wins, the Bush rank and file will be goaded to violence by the media minions; if * wins, he will provoke a war in which many former allies take up arms against the US.

14. This election is far from over
Gotta keep on fightin. November is still two months away. Kerry is a smart campaigner (though I think he waited too long to fight back).

The thing Kerry has to do is go on the offense. Bush is the one that needs to DEFEND why he deserves another term. Kerry has nothing to answer for regarding his service in Vietnam.

15. Yes
And that's not just wishful thinking. The fact is that Iraq is still a mess (five more Americans were killed just yesterday, bringing the total number of dead close to 1000), the economy is in bad shape, a solid majority think that the country is headed in the wrong direction, and, luckily for us, Bush is running one of the worst campaigns in decades; he has spent over $100 million so far, yet poll after poll has him stuck in the low to mid forties which spells big trouble for any incumbent. Plus, virtually every single electoral college analysis -- even those done by Republicans -- shows Kerry with a nice lead at this point. As for the swift boat nonsense, I'm confident that it will be forgotten once Bush's convention gets started. The only people who really care about that crap are Republicans who weren't going to vote for Kerry anyway.

My prediction? Kerry wins with approx. 320 electoral votes.

17. Only if the campaign (Kerry/Edwards)
gets bold. The problem is the press and the lack of information they give the public.
