In my humble opinion, Kerry stated in late July that he wasn't going to broadcast any TV ads in august to save money.
The ads then started running soon after that announcement. As a result, Kerry has had to dip into his funds to counter the accusations.
What is the point of this?
It has nothing to do with right or wrong for them. Since all their claims have now been revealed as lies.
They, the repubs, wish to drain Kerry's election budget so by the end of Oct, more like the last two weeks, he will be out of funds.
Then, I bet you dollar to donuts, you will see a huge push by the moron. The last in mind is the one voted for. See?

moveoen has a lot more money and they're both 527s. If one can run ads, so can th eother. I wish Moveon had gotten first the McCain ad (when he lectures W). That is devastating

also they need to soften him up before the real assault which is to question his patriotism because of his anti-war activities. Without an effort to dis-credit his Vietnam war record they can't hit him on his anti-war record.
