I Talked *AT* p.o.s. O'NEILL on the Radio Today!

He was scheduled for less than half an hour with my local radio wingnut talkshow host. I e-mailed the host scads of stuff, the ROOD article, SPAETH/PERRY stuff all weekend.

There was only time for one caller before me, the host's yakking, then me. At least they didn't have time to let P.o.S. rehash all his slime.

When I got on, I said that he has blown the decorations stuff WAY out of proportion, that all 200 of the crew on my ship got Combat Action Ribbons whether you were a cook or whatever for the 3 days out of one year we got shot at, that the captain who was really a lieutenant got a Purple Heart because he got cut by some glass.

I managed to keep my cool, ending with, "The point is YOU GET WHAT YOU GET!" Meaning that HE is being dishonorable to question what another vet has.

After I rang off, the P.o.S. said, "I thank him for his service..."

I wish I could have answered, "You are DISHONORING my service, you a**h***!!!"

Soon after that he told the host he had to go, and the host said it was 3 minutes earlier than scheduled for him to leave.

This a**h*** is gaming the civilian lack of knowledge about these military decorations. Any little vet can call him on his b.s.
