Was asked by a Guy at my company about Kerry stickers |
|
And a yard Sign I told him the stickers are a few bucks a piece and the sign was around 4 bucks. He started backing off like why would the campaign charge him for advertising for them.I told him I would buy them as a gift and explained that making them and running campaigns is really costly.
Oh what made him ask me for them was the Swift boat repukes Questioning Kerrys war wounds..It pissed him off and being pissed is a good motivator..I also picked up a "veteren for kerry" sticker for my Buddy. I hear Pdiddy got close to 150 thousand people registered in kansas I hear also this mourning another group got 40,000 most likely to lean kerry voters registered. People are Pissed!!

1. Thanks for the good work, my friend |
|
Here in Pittsburgh, people were mobbing Kerry campaign workers to volunteer services, cash or just vocal support on Forbes Avenue this morning-and Da Burgh is a conservative city, folks.

14. And also close to that number in Missouri! |

This could be the semi-under-the-radar voter block that can kick Dubya's ass back to Crawford with a "swift" and mighty and furious blow.

|
at Kerrygear.com. I bought 20 so I can hand them out to anyone that wants one.

Of course my yard is full of Dem signs and she said, "I can't find a Kerry bumper sticker and we gotta get that SOB putta there ya know" I said wait a sec I have one left inside from the Kerry party. She was a 80+ if she was a day and she walks an even older dog by my house every morining. One more for our side in small town hick iowa. Gotta love it!

for 150,000 in Kansas? It just seems like an awful lot, especially as I'm not aware of his being here registering voters.
But every new voter is a good voter, especially if they vote Democratic!

7. It is incredibly hard to keep buttons and signs in stock |
|
at our headquarters.
I do not yet have a yard sign or bumper stickers for myself.
I have a shirt and a button.
Maybe it is a good sign that we can't get enough of them. They are in demand.
I see nothing wrong with charging a little bit for those items. It is expensive to run a campaign.
And at least here, people are willing to pay a bit for them.

10. Back in the olden days |
|
campaign stuff was free. I guess the parties saw a way to do a little fund raising with it. We (South Baldwin Democrats) order our stickers and yard signs online. Pay .38 apiece for stickers and sell them for half a buck.

13. Yard signs aren't really all that |
|
expensive, about three dollars each, but when you consider that there will be many thousands and thousands of yard signs placed in any election, it can really add up.
And now that I think about it, I've seen a few Kerry/Edwards yard signs here in Kansas, but I don't think I've seen a single Bush one. That's kind of interesting.
