Bush downgrades # of times Kerry voted for tax increases by 250, why?
Earlier this year, the RNC was obsessed with Kerry's alleged, what, 350 votes for tax increases.

Well, the latest B/C '04 ad says the number is more like 95.

What happened? Did Kerry flip-flop on his historical voting record and manually alter the congressional record? What's upppp...

1. John Stewart ...
IMO, he outed them on this issue saying that their number was inflated because they were counted times he voted against a tax decrease as voting for a tax increase. He did this on the show with the Rapid Reactionary Rep. from Texas.

3. The same reason Hannity has slowly increased the intel cuts
They are trying to slow get the number where they want it (they knew 350 was just stupid) without rising interest and so the Kool Aid drinkers don't notice the slow change.

Hannity about 6 mos ago said the Kerry tried to SLASH the CIA budget by $3 Billion. Of course the NRO story is well documented.

Then Pawn Hannity had it up to $4Billion a month later

Then $5 Billion

Then $6 Billion for a long time

Then two weeks ago it got to $7 Billion. Mind you I listened to Hannity for about 20 minutes onthe way home (that is all that is necessary as it is just a loop of talking points over and over). I couldn't figure out how he got to that number-it WAS $1.5 Billion over 5 years or $300 Million a year........then it hit me-he MULTIPIED 5 X 1.5 instead of dividing.

Just last week he finally got the number to the right INCORRECT number-$7.5 Billion.

Seriously that is exactly how it has happened.
