McCain: I'll be too old to run for president in 2008
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xt3Vk4AJwN4

Jim Lehrer: Finally, for the record, you have not lost your desire to be President of the United States, have you?

John McCain: Certainly it's been put in deep cold storage.

Lehrer: But you haven't lost it.

McCain: Well, look, in 2004 I expect to be campaigning for the re-election of President George W. Bush, and by 2008, I think I might be ready to go down to the old soldier's home and await the cavalry charge there.

9. The best part is, McCain's saying it, so it's not like we're attacking his age.
He's doing all the work for us.

13. Except in the surreal world of Team McCain........they'd make it look
as if Obama was ATTACKING him for being too old. :eyes:

15. Yeah, but you know how Team McCain would probably spin it:
They'd try to come off as the VICTIMS of a nasty age-ism smear b/c Team Obama has the audacity to bring it up, in the first place. :eyes:

I mean the surreal negative shit is just beginning.

11. Great: pick on old folks; that's gonna win friends and influence people...
It may be funny to some, but it's mean and it pisses off lots of people.
