McCain's campaign has been reduced to: "Don't vote for him, he's too popular" |
|
Some future arguments by John McCain:
"Oil companies need a tax break, they're making too much money"
"We've won in Iraq, therefore we must stay"
"The Free Market must be allowed to operate unfettered, therefore we're bailing out failing companies"
It's the Yogi Berra campaign:
"Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded" - Yogi Berra, referring to a popular NY restaurant

2. This seems like a strange line of attack to me. |

The obvious corrolary of "it's bad to be popular" is "it's good to be unpopular". After all, who wants a president that is respected and admired by Americans as well as by the citizens of other nations? We want people everywhere to hate and fear our leaders, that's how to keep us safe, yeah, that's the ticket.
