Anything But Talk About The Real Issues And Problems.........

Lets face it - Race was injected into this campaign right at the beginning of the primaries when Obama decided to run for president.

News Flash People - Obama's Black!!!! As soon as he decided to run - race entered the picture. All one had to do is see him up there on stage with the other Caucasian candidates. And guess what - he goes to a black church and listens to black preachers that talk about black issues.

And guess what else - it didn't help that his middle name was Hussein. And what came out of that - the e-mail campaign - that he's a Muslim.

He didn't wear a flag pin on his lapel. He didn't hold his hand over his heart during the 'pledge of allegiance' - and guess what - all of a sudden he's not patriotic.

All these have been the under the counter campaign that has been run against Obama. It's a fact of life and another News Flash - that there are people in this country that are racist. Guess What? - there is still discrimination going on in this country. Maybe not as vocal or visible as it once was because it's politically incorrect in 2008 - but its still out there. And you know what - everybody knows it. Isn't that what caused Obama to give his now famous speech on race - that he gave during the primary.

What we are seeing out of the McCain and Repug camp is a "SwiftBlack" campaign. A stealth campaign to utilize the fact that Obama is black - against him. And all Obama is doing is standing up to the "bullies" and defending himself. Trying to pre-empt the shots that are being taken at him. He's basically telling the people he talks to is that this is how they are going to try and defeat me. They aren't going to talk about the real issues that are hurting this country - they are going to attack me as a person.

Now why is that hard to understand and comprehend. This whole "SwiftBlack" thing going on now is just a deflection from McCain having to talk about the real problems. Those are the problems that have been created by this corrupt administration that has left the Constitution and this country of ours in a shambles.

I'm hoping that there are enough of us in this country that are voters that see through this strategy on the part of McCain and the Repugs and won't buy it anymore. Johnny boy, Bushy boy and Karl boy - guess what - we're not that stupid - even though you have tried to dumb us down - we're not that stupid. Your tactics won't work. Your tactics are just tactics of desperation and we all know it.

Why don't you at least try and go down fighting and talking about the real issues. Maybe people would have more respect for you.

As for Paris and Brittany and trying to use Obama's popularity against him. Guess what - that won't work either. Why - because we all know - it was the last eight years of Repug rule over this country - that made Obama popular. It is your unpopularity that created his popularity.

Yes - We The People - want Change and Hope - because that's pretty much all we have left after these past 8 years. You've lied, cheated and stole everything else from us.
