I don't care who Andrea Mitchell sleeps with |
|
Andrea Mitchell gets on our nerves. A wannabe Barbara Walters, she reflects back republican talking points with glee, giving them credence without criticism. Of course, it is interesting that she is married to Greenspan, and there may be some credence to the notion that her reporting supports her husband. Beyond than, I don't need to read any references to her sleeping with Greenspan. Guess what? When people marry, their destinies are linked. They do no screw each other until their brains fall out. Nor is one parter use sexual prowess to put the other under his or her sway. To some extent we should accept that Mitchell actually worked up to her position, and that she and Greenspan were a good match because they held compatible political views.
So, please stop. It's bordering on misogyny.

1. Well I'm sure that it is in her interest |

To see that the responsibility for her husband's atrocious economic policies and it's aftermath is not placed squarely where it belongs, on his lap.
I don't see how the hell she can be considered an appropriate reporter for the election given the clear conflict of interest. She's reporting on an election where the economy is a huge issue, an economy that her husband was steering until about a year or so ago. How exactly is she neutral again? This does need to be pointed out every time she shows up on the TV to pretend to be a journalist.
OTOH, I don't need images of the two of them together. That's just nasty.
