Here's asswipe McCains new negative attack ad coming according to Drudge
Edited on Fri Aug-01-08 01:09 PM by jezebel
top of Drudge's page:

'PRAISE THE ONE': New McCain Ad Attacks the 'Divine Obama'... Developing...

Here's the ad: Looks like a web-ad not for tv to me. He's trying to get publicity and Drudge is giving it to him.

Looks like his ad staff comes directly from Comedy Central - but the joke's on him.

Everything about McCain is just so... wrong.

Stay cool, Barack. They are looking sillier and sillier by the minute. Watch for the "McCain goes negative again" blowback.

8. This is the Clinton campaign "kitchen sink" strategy all over again.
It did drive Obama's numbers down but not by enough.

It's all kind of silly though. I think Clinton's stuff worked better because it was new.

23. Attacking McCain using rhetoric and ads that demand attention. Turning McCain's strenth into weaknes
Redirecting the narrative.

NONE of which seems to be happening. I honestly think the Obama campaign is inept when it comes to public relations and ads.

33. So what? The point is, make Obama anathema so people vote f/devil they know. And it's working
Edited on Fri Aug-01-08 01:55 PM by cryingshame
Obama's campaign is inept at producing ads that demand attention and turn McCain's attacks against them.

All Obama's campaign has done is WHINE about McCain being negative. They release memos and ads the mediawhores ignore.

Who cares if McCain is negative? He's still the devil we know.

Obama's team had ZERO effect in changing narrative. And his numbers are now dropping after what should have been a good bump.

I'm sick of reading DU'ers excusing the bumbling failures at Obama's campaign.

The Media environment is what it is, been that way for years. And Obama's people totally dropped the ball this week.

We cannot afford to allow polls to fluctuate.

Election fraud and voter purging dictates Obama keep ahead by at least 10 points.

32. Obama needs to make an ad of trial and errors of McCain's attacks
- first he tried to say I used photoshop too much
- then he said that people like me too much, and I remind him of Britney spears or something
- then he said I was like the second coming...

- what in the world will he use to attack me next?

McCain Camp Mocks Prophetic Obama
01 Aug 2008 02:25 pm

Just "a little Friday fun," according to a McCain aide. The campaign hopes it goes viral.

The Obama folks on the trail here admit that the ad is amusing. But, says one, "we are basically running against the NRCC" -- (which is known for these type of personality-based media creations).

24. McCain is overdoing it. This strategy will backfire
I think that McCain is beginning to overplay his hand and I will not be surprised if it backfires. At this point someone mentioned Kitchensink II...yes, he is throwing everything at the wall to see if anything sticks and so far it has worked to some degree. But Obama's Campaign has to counteract aggressively: the American people will give him a pass (I do not know if the MSM will give him a pass) because it will be seen as a defense to McCain's nasty detour into the low road.

the sooner the anti-christ is here, the sooner jesus returns. isn't that what all those end time nuts believe?

so what better way to bring about christ's return! vote obama!

actually, i tried that whole line of thought on a wingnut i know when the first "obama is the anti-christ" emails were going around. went right over his head.
