At least not in the way you think. Sometimes the worse wounds are the ones that lay open people's souls, not arms or legs. Cuts can be stitched up, amputees can learn to live with missing limbs. Try living with a part of your soul sliced out because of what you saw...or worse yet what you did...and try to fix that. You Bastard! They didn't give purple hearts for those that lost a part of their heart and soul did they? Try healing a wound like that for over 30 years...only to have it slashed open again by a group that insists some that SERVED didn't earn their medals.
