3. Gergen was defending Obama...

My memory isn't that great especially when watching/reading a ton of political news this morning, so most things are running together at this point.
Gergen was saying how dirty the Republicans are getting after McCain was saying he wanted a positive campaign. He mentioned that the only thing they can do is go negative since they can't run on anything else. He also said agreed with Tapper that the media is all about Obama but added that that is what the Republicans want. They don't want it to be focused on McCain. He then mentioned that Obama took a lot of hits this week and need a fighter on his team like Clinton.

Anyone feel free to clean up what i've said.

he's playing for their team but he's usually Kool Aid free. He had a great quote earlier this week on McCain's new ads. I can't remember what it was but he was NOT amused.
