I was very proud today..... |
|
I got a call from my wife this morning. She indicated that my daughter has been telling her classmates of the virtues of John Kerry and John Edwards. She has also been telling them that "George bu$h is evil." My wife was mortified. I was thrilled.
If anyone is wondering, my daughter is five. A budding progressive, I hope!!!!!

I love the honesty of children. We adults could learn something from them.

3. My 2-year-old daughter saw bush's picture at the top of the page |
|
the one where he's being kicked to crawford, and she called him a "baddie" - her word for a bad guy, like in a movie.
LOL
I didn't prompt her or anything!

5. My daughter, 5, did the same thing to her conservative teacher. |
|
They were painting White Houses and the teacher asked who lived there and my daughter said that it was John Kerry's house. The teacher said, well who is George Bush then and she said, he was the bad man. I of course told her in front of the teacher that Bush was not a bad person, but his policies were bad, but I was do proud of her. The teacher for her part told me that she was impressed that she knew the two men at all.
Today she was watching Hardball with me and was sitting closer to Tv than me. I caught her watching Kerry on Dick Cavett and she got excited seeing Kerry and said, Oh it's Kerry. Then she turned to me and said, Mom he was younger than. I said yes. I few moments later when Bush was shown, she said the the screen, "Bush, we don't want to hear you."
So I know what you mean. Starting Kindergarten and she already knows whose left and whose wrong. Already been to a protest too!
