4. i have all the gaskets and seals and stuff to do a full top end rebuild right now
im gonnapull the crank and clean the gunk out and powder coat the frame
theres only like 25 parts in one so i can do it in 2 days
i love this bike my wife saw an ad and got it as a surprise because i had a bsa royal star 650 i had to let go because i couldnt get parts for it
its a 1966 tr6r tiger but its been done over with an early daytona style top end with dual carbs
very fast
scary fast
had a lot of trouble until i enlarged the oil storage so i may add an oil cooler to it while its down
fonzie rode a triumph first
brando rode one in the wild one

11. Uh, okay --
I said I like Triumphs, but that doesn't mean I get what you're talking about when it comes to enlarging the oil storage, but thanks for sharing. :eyes:

Tell your wife she ROCKS! How cool that she got that for you!!

My brother had a 650 (is that right?) about 35 years ago.

Still have a soft spot in my head (and some other body parts, at the time) for a particular old Norton Cafe Racer myself, but, sigh... that was then, this is now...
