1. uranium mines
While this may be true, there is enough uranium here to satisfy all the nuke industries needs, The problem is and always, who wants a uranium mine in their backyard? Besides if we decommissioned all the nuke missiles, there would be fuel for many years. Even that is not the issue, the issue is that everyone should have an independent source of energy, be it pv o solar thermal. That is the only to be truly free from the robber barons that want to control our lives. Even ir self produced energy produced only a part of our usage, it still scares the crap out of them. That is the real reason that solar and wind and geothermal has opposition in high places. Get used to it, and get ready, the new class war is upon us and if we don't win, then third world status will be here for all to enjoy.
