Electoral-vote.com: "Obama-316; McCain-209; Tie-13 (Virginia)"
Obama's weak showing in the national preference polls (he's averaging only 2-4 point above McCain most of the time) seems to be from weaker than average support in big blue states like California, New York, & Pennsylvania--states he's gonna win anyway.

God I hope I'm not just being overly confident.

1. Yeah pretty much...

...Though he'll have to shore those polls up a bit before the vote, he's sacrificing voters here in MA (by not campaigning even by surrogate) for more strategic votes. He apparently went from +23 to +9 here, if you care to believe that poll.
