Chet Edwards (R)?
I was watching hardball just now and they had that guy Edwards that pelosi wants as VP and they had an R by his name. I don't want him to be VP and I don't think he stands a chance but the media needs to stop misidentifying politicians.

3. Chet is my congressman and he portrays a conservative image but
the ADA rated him 85% in 07 and the NAACP put him at 83%.

He doesn't have national stature, but he has solid credentials on defense and veteran's issues.
