Wow. You know? I think we're not going to know Obama's VP choice until the convention. |

2. That'd be great strategically. I just don't know if I can take much |
|
more speculation, though. Good thing Obama doesn't run his campaign according to what I can and cannot take, huh?

6. I think Obama should start listening to me on these matters. |
|
I mean look at my track record:
2008: Primary Edwards
2004: Primary Edwards GE Kerry
2000: Primary Bradley GE Gore
1996: Clinton both
1992: Primary Brown GE Clinton
1988: Primary Hart GE Dukakis
1984: Primary Hart GE Bergland
I mean with a track record like mine, how could he not listen to me -- Or listen to my advise and be fairly sure I'm probably wrong

7. LOL!! Hey, my record is even worse than yours. Because until |
|
1988, I was the most self-righteous repuke there ever was. Boy, I thought I was right about everything. Turns out I was wrong on everthing.
My record is pretty close to yours after that, except that I was a Deaniac in 2004. Probably could have flipped a coin and gotten better results.
This year I'm Obama all the way. And I'm too damned tired to care who the VP is at this point. But the odds are in favor of it being human. I think.

3. I don't think Obama will name his VP choice tomorrow. |
|
I haven't seen the Obama campaign telegraph their intentions before and then be coy about it. If it were going to be Bayh, this would be way too obvious. I would think Obama would announce his choice at a more neutral location where it at least would be somewhat of a surprise.

8. Personally...it's annoying the shit out of me. Strategically.... |

I have no idea. Would getting a buzz now be more beneficial than waiting until the convention and risking a Clinton-supporter uproar?
Edit: That's assuming Obama doesn't pick Clinton of course.

The wrinkly old guy with white hair is trying to wait him out, which means he's out there flailing about all on hid own without the help he so desperately needs while Obama is doing fine on his own.

It's like the old conventions.
I think it's a great idea.
But you KNOW .... someone is going to leak who the VP is. Someone will snap pictures of the Obama/???? signs being printed and send them to the press.
