What then do we say to these things?
''Judge us not by the promises we make, the stories we tell, nor the ads we run. Measure us, by all means, by the policies and proposals we lay forth for your consideration. But judge us as well by the example we set; by the way we conduct our campaigns; by the way we personally practice politics.'' - John McCain

He also said:

''Let us lead by example.''; and

''We should refrain from attacking each other 'directly or through surrogates, with the negative advertising that has disgusted the nation, and pledge ourselves to a high standard of accuracy in discussions of our own agendas and those of our opponents.''

He spoke these words during his run against Bush in 2000.

In 2008 Senator John McCain offers:

Bomb, Bomb Iran song
Kill Iraq with cigarettes joke
The Seal video
He's the One video
Paris Hilton
Mocking quick fix energy tips
Sturgis and Ms. Buffalo Chip stump

...just to name a recent few.

Senator John Sidney McCain III, by your own words, you are unfit to lead as President of the United States of America.

How say you?
