He was quick to kiss Obama's ass after dropping from the race, even though there would not be a "Bill Richardson" were it not for Bill Clinton.

others' mouth.

It is a given that many who voted for Hillary in the primaries are not going to vote for Obama, perhaps they were not going to vote for any non-Hillary nominee. People like and dislike candidates at different degrees of passion and any attempts to rationalize them is an exercise in futility. Picking Richardson as a VP - a long shot, many would agree - will just give some of them a convenient reason.
